Amanda's passion lies in exploring and developing human potential. Amanda describes herself as a "student of the game"; she is always looking to strengthen and question her understanding of human movement, health, and nutrition. She is deeply passionate about sharing this with her clients to help them reach their potential and improve their standard of living and performance.
Amanda has an insatiable desire to live a fulfilled life, this is seen through the paths she has chosen to walk down. She pursued a professional tennis career until an injury forced her to re-evaluate and Functional Fitness has now become her sport of choice. Amanda has over 15 years of coaching experience, working with a wide variety of population groups. She graduated from medical school in 2016 (University of Auckland, New Zealand), prior to this she completed a Bachelors of Health Science (Physiotherapy).
Amanda believes everyone deserves a chance to express their highest potential, to live a healthy and fulfilled life - physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. She believes nutrition is the basis for improving these aspects of one’s wellbeing. Amanda is passionate not only about using nutrition as a means to prevent disease and improve general health, but she also loves working with athletes on making those all-important one percent improvements and express their physical skills.
