Coach Amanda's number one passion lies in exploring and developing human potential. She describes herself as a "student of the game" and is always looking to strengthen and question her understanding of human movement, health and nutrition. She loves sharing this with her clients to help them reach their own potential and to improve their standard of living and performance.
Amanda believes everyone deserves a chance to express their highest potential and to live a healthy and fulfilled life - physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and socially – and that nutrition is the basis for improving these aspects. Her coaching centres around not only using nutrition as a means to prevent disease and improve general health, but she also loves working with athletes on making those all-important “one-percent” improvements in expressing their physical skills.
Amanda has an insatiable desire to live a fulfilled life. She pursued a professional tennis career until an injury forced her to re-evaluate and functional fitness has become her sport of choice. She has more than 15 years’ coaching experience working with a wide variety of population groups. In 2016, she graduated from University of Auckland’s (New Zealand) medical school and before that, she completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy).
