Along with support for optimising overall health and wellness, as a Dietitian, Ellen is qualified to treat a variety of health and nutrition-related concerns, including (but not limited to) digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, irritable bowel syndrome, food intolerances, allergies, coeliac disease, malnutrition, modified texture diets and nutrition in pregnancy.
Ellen developed her passion for nutrition and exercise when she began her studies in a Bachelor of Health Science, deciding to major in both Nutrition and Exercise Science at The University of Adelaide. Following this, her passion for nutrition grew and she underwent her Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders University and gained a year of experience consulting with patients and management of health and diseases in various South Australian Hospitals, recognising the difference good nutrition can make to peoples lives.
As a qualified Nutritionist, Exercise Scientist, and Dietitian, Ellen has always been passionate about her health and the health of the people around her. Ellen aims to support people to find their own place of balance, encouraging people to listen to their body, exercise to feel good, and eat to nourish their body and feel their best. Ellen believes health is not one size fits all, an individual approach to a healthy lifestyle is essential and different for every person. Health to Ellen means to optimise your relationship with food and exercise, but also means to get enough sleep, reduce stress, balance hormones, and look after your mindset as every aspect can impact one another.
